Lefkonas (Greek: ) is a village , population 2136, part of the synonymous municipality of the Serres Prefecture, Greece. with a population 3897 (2001). Area of the municipality 56.19 km2. The municipality was formed according to the Kapodistrias plan in 1997. Lefkonas was called in the past as Kavakli, Division of the municipality:
