Kormista (Greek: ) is a municipality in the Serres Prefecture, Greece. Population 3034 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Nea Bafra

Moni Ikosifoinissis is a Monastery on a side of the Pangaion mountain at an alt. of 753 m. The monastery is known for its so-called acheoropoiti icon of Panagia , i.e. according to a legend an icon not produced by hands.

The monastery was destroyed several times. In 1507 Turks killed 172 monks, a monument is erected in the front of the monastery. It was also destroyed by the Bulgars in 1917.
