Irakleia (Heraklia) (Greek: ) is a village , population 3609 , part of the synonymous municipality in the Serres Prefecture, Greece with a population 13173 (2001).

The area of the municipality is 196.8 km2.


Irakleia is c. 27 NW of the city of Serres. It was named after the ancient site of Irakleia in the region, before 1926 the village was known as Tzumagia-Bairakli.
