Aroania

Aroania (Greek: Αροανία) is a municipality in the Achaea prefecture, Greece. The municipal population is 2551 (2001 census). The seat of administration is in the town Psofida (or Psofis), Area c. 173.80 km²

Tripotama

Tripotama is named after the three rivers in the regions: Erymanthos, Aroanios and Seiraios. It is near the border of the prefectures Achaia and Arcadia. Near Tripotama are the remains of the ancient Arcadian city Psophis and also the "Plane Tree of Pausanias" where according to a legend the geographer Pausanias rested for some time.
