Evrymenes (Greek: ) is a municipality in the Ioannina Prefecture, Greece. Its 2001 population was 1,525. The seat of the municipality is in Klimatia. There is another Evrymenes and is an ancient city that is now known as Kastritsa east in the municipality of Pamvotida.Population

Geography

Its geography consists of almost entirely mountainous with several valleys, farmlands are in the valleys.

History

The municipality was founded in 1996 and included some of its former communities. In 1999, the remainder that were Vassilopoulo and Raiko with the settlement of Kastri were added to the municipality under the Capodistria plan.
