Neleus

Neleus a native of Scepsis, the son of Coriscus. He was a disciple of Aristotle and Theophrastus, the latter of whom bequeathed to him his library, and appointed him one of his executors. The history of the writings of Aristotle as connected with Neleus and his heirs, is fully discussed elsewhere. [Vol. I. p. 323.] Of the personal history of Neleus nothing further is known.
