Paralia Chiliadou

Paralia Chiliadou is a settlement of the Dirfys municipality of Euboea. It is situated in a mountainous area and the beach are surrounded by one. It is at the end of the road linking southwest to Steni Dirfeou and Chalkida. The Dirfys mountain is located to the southwest.

The population was 127 in 2001.

Paralia Chiliadou was in the past a place of pirates.

The name Chiliadou is derived from the name of a church, Panagia Chiliadou. According to a legend it was church no. 1000 (chilia) founded by the byzantine empress Theodora.

The coast in the region is divided into small separated parts by the mountain Dirfi. The northern part is a traditional beach for nudists.
