Tropaia (Greek: Τρόπαια) is a municipality in Arcadia, Greece. Population 4660 (2001).

Tropaia

Tropaia is a small village 84 km from Tripolis. Near the village before 1300 AD was the village Vervitsa (named so by the slavs)

Ruins of the castle Akova from the 13th century are near the villages Vyziki (Vyzikion) and Galatas.

Spatharis

Spatharis is a village founded around 1650. It is probably named after some who was called Spatharis derived from the name of a type of guards (Spatharios) in the Byzantine Empire.
