Dafnousia

Dafnousia (Greek: ) is a municipality in Phthiotis, Greece. Population 4326 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Livanates.

Arkitsa

Arkitsa is a small seaside village 84 km SE of Lamia. Near Arkitsa there is the old church of Agia Aikaterini with various mosaics.

Livanates

Livanates is a small seaside city 68 km SE of Lamia. Near Livanates are remains of a place known in the antiquity as Kynos mentioned by Homer (catalog of ships) as one of the cities of Locris which participated in the Trojan war. It was probably the largest seaside city in East Locris.

Livanates is the birthplace of Andreas Androutsos, the father of Odysseas Androutsos a known freedom fighter. There is also a church of Agioi Theodoroi in Livanates from the 14th century.
