Domokos

Domokos () is a municipality in Phthiotis, Greece. Population 5692 (2001).

Domokos is also a town and the seat of the Domokos municipality. Its population in 2001 was 1556.

The town is 35 km from Lamia and 25 km from Farsala. The town is on a side of a hill. In the antiquity it was known as Thavmakoi. On the acropolis there are remains of medieval fortifications.

Domokos is known from the Greco-Turkish war of 1897.
