Thessaliotida (Greek: Θεσσαλιώτιδα) is a municipality in Phthiotis, Greece. Population 4705 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Neo Monastirio.

Ekkara is a village 43 km N of Lamia. Ekkara is on the road from Lamia to Karditsa between the villages Velesiotes and Gavrakia. The villagers are mainly farmers. It was known in the past as Kato Agoriani but was renamed to Ekkara in 1930.
