Chalkeia

Chalkeia (Greek: Χάλκεια) is a municipality in Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece, population 2863 (2001)

Chalkeia was named after the ancient city Chalkis or Chalkia mentioned by Homer, which was west of of Kato Vasiliki.
