Oiniades

Oiniades, also Iniades (Greek: Οινιάδες), older forms: Oiniadai, Oiniade, Iniadai and Iniade is a municipality in Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece. Population 10,227 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Neochori. The first mayor ever of the municipality is Gerasimos M. Nestoratos who served as a mayor the years 1998-2002 (first election) and 2002-2006 (second election).

The name dates back to the ancient times as an ancient city and was founded by Alcmaeon (great grandfather of Apollo). It was also strategically important. It was known as Oeniadae

Pentalofon or Pentalofos is a village, in the past called Boudolovitsa or Podolovitsa until in 1928 it was renamed.
