Periphery: Central Macedonia Map / Location of Eleftherio-Kordelio, Thessaloniki Eleftherio-Kordelio (Greek: ) is a municipal suburb on the western edge of the Thessaloniki metropolitan area in Greece. It was founded in 1924 by greek refugees from the town of Kordelio on the westcoast of Asia Minor (today Turkey). Eleftherio-Kordelio covers an area of 3,75 km² with 21.630 (2001) inhabitants.
