Michaniona (Greek: Μηχανιώνα) is a municipality in the Thessaloniki Prefecture, Greece. Population 9425 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Nea Michaniona. The area of the municipality is 21.7 km2.

- Aggelochorion / Δ.δ. Αγγελοχωρίου -- το [ 1017 ]
- Kerasia / Δ.δ. Ν.Κερασιάς -- η [ 1105 ]
The ancient city of Aenea (gr. Ainia) is NW of Nea Michaniona. Wall paintings of tombs which were found in the region are now in the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki.
Aggelochori or Angelochori (Αγγελοχωρι) (older form Agelochorion) is a village (district) of Michaniona. Its economy is mostly based on agriculture.
