Thermi (Greek: ) is a town with a population 11360 part of the synonymous municipality in the Thessaloniki Prefecture Greece with a population 16546 (2001).

Thermi is 15 km SE of the city of Thessaloniki

The community Thermi was established in 1918. Since 1994 it is a municipality.

Thermi is named after the ancient place Thermi, according to Herodotus the Thermaic Gulf was named after Thermi. In the Byzantine period Thermi was known as Sedes. In the Ottoman period the region was used by Ottomam farmers. It belonged to Suleiman Pasha until the liberation of the region , official in 11 March 1917 Eleftherios Venizelos ordered the use of this region for the needs of the population. Some refugees from Mandritsa of East Romylia lived in the region since 1914 and East Thrace. 1924-1926 more refugees lived here who had to leave their homes in Pontos and Minor Asia.

The municipalty population increased rapidly after the 70s. In 1981 the population was 3120, in 1991 5998 in 2001 it was 11360.
