Kalamaria Municipality Nea Krini (English: Νew Crene ,Greek: Νέα Κρήνη ) is a suburb of Thessaloniki and belongs to the Municipality of Kalamaria.It is considered among the best districts of the city. Many local footballers, basketball players and singers live in Nea Krini. The beach near Mikra Sports Center is often called Miami, because there is a luxurious restaurant called Miami in the area Sport Clubs In Nea Krini there are two major neighbouring football clubs, AEN (English:Athletic Union of New Crene ,(Greek: Αθλητική Ένωση Νέας Κρήνης ) and Agios Georgios (English:Saint George's Athletic ,(Greek: Αθλητική Ένωση Αγίου Γεωργίου ).
